CORE ARABIC

The Arabic Language programme is our main structured programme for Arabic which takes you from a beginner to a proficient user of the language. It is a general Fusha (Standard) Arabic programme which targets and develops all four language skills simultaneously: listening, reading, writing and speaking. It teaches grammar (Nahw, Sarf and Balagha) and vocabulary related to a wide range of topics and themes, modern and classical across the levels. 

The programme is composed of 20 levels, with the levels from beginner to advanced having a duration of 50 hours. Each level moves you closer to the overall programme objectives.

ARABIC IMMERSION 

The Arabic Immersion programme adds additional classes to the core programme to improve your communication skills (writing and speaking) and make your experience more immersive. Additional classes:

  • Projects & Activities – benefit from a variety of activities such as debating, extended role-plays, presentations, calligraphy. Activities will depend on your level and interests. 
  • Speaking classes – Additional weekly conversation practice in small groups of 2-3.

General Quran

Duration: 1.5 Years
Prerequisites: None
Age: 13+

The General Programme is a general comprehensive programme that helps you navigate through the Quranic Sciences in a structured, holistic and gradual way.

Modules:
– Tajweed Theory: Delve into the theory of tajweed and master the correct manner of reciting the Quran. Studying the theoretical side of Tajweed helps you understand the mechanics of correct recitation
– Recitation Improvement: Practical application of of Quran recitation through feedback and error correction.
– Hifdh: Progress in your Quran memorisation journey
– Tafsir: Go through the explanation of selected commonly-read chapters of the Quran to help you connect and build a meaningful relationship.
– Islamic Etiquettes: Guide you to attain the etiquettes (Adab) of a student of the Quran;

The programme also serves as preparation for those who would like to gain Ijaazah

Ijaazah

Level: Advanced

  • Ijaazah in Recitation – Gain Ijaazah in reciting with Tajweed from the Mushaf.
  • Ijaazah in Recitation and Hifdh (القِراءة والإقراء) – Gain Ijaazah in your Hifdh, from a Riwayah of your choice. Please note, reciting with the correct Tajweed is a requirement.
